I’ve seen burp cloths on some packing lists and was curious if you need them? How many?

I honestly never used burp cloths at all with my son. But I remember when I was making my registry with him my SIL told me I was gonna need so many burp cloths! Maybe it depends on how much your baby spits up? My son was never much of a spitter upper lol

Take a couple, you probably won’t need them but it’s good to have just in case

I didn’t need any, my milk didn’t come in until I got home so it was more like dry burps than full on spit up when we were in the hospital

Our hospital provided burp clothes, swaddles, diapers, and wipes. I really didn’t feel like I needed much of anything for my first. This time around I’ll just pack whatever outfit I want her to wear home and maybe footie pjs but not much else!

I wouldn’t bring them since it just sounds like more laundry for you!
I used the hospital provided swaddles to clean up any little messes and when they got dirty I asked for replacement ones.
