Custom baby clothes are great products to sell. Why? They make excellent gifts, mothers love to personalize their baby’s items and the typical baby needs a lot of clothes since they grow pretty fast (and make a ton of mess).

To make it a little more wholesome, I’ve also included a list of things you should know before making your first design down below.

20 Print On Demand Baby Clothes Websites

1. Printify

It’s always a smart idea to try and sell multiple baby products. Printify has one of the widest range of items aside from baby clothes – you can even sell custom baby bibs online. You get to diversify your sales and earn more from the same customers.

Other than their bodysuit and baby diaper backpack, all products are priced well under $30. You can even save more on product costs by subscribing to Printify Premium. I’ve made a full comparison of Printify’s prices against Printful here.

Printify also has a choice of organic long sleeve baby bodysuit in two basic colors (B&W). Materials play a huge role when it comes to buying for newborns!

So far, both Printify and Printful do not offer all over print on demand baby clothes.

2. Printful

While Printful has limited options compared to Printify, they have some unique items like baby denim jackets and bomber jackets. Although both are priced under $30, they are made of eco-friendly materials and uses embroidery technique on the back side!

Unlike Printify, their organic baby bodysuit also comes in a blush pink aside from just black and white. Some of Printful’s prices for baby clothes printing are slightly cheaper than Printify – only if you’re not getting the Printify Premium subscription.

3. Gooten

There aren’t many choices of baby clothes on Gooten besides their baby bodysuits that comes in 16 base colors. Gooten offers three types of bodysuits, including a long sleeve one. All are made of 100% ring-spun cotton which is a great material to stay comfortable in both warmer and colder seasons.

Regardless, you can dropship baby items of all kinds with Gooten. This includes crib sheets, headbands and burp cloths – trust me, all babies need a few pairs of these!

You can set up an Etsy or Shopify store just to dropship baby gifts for newborns.

4. Gelato

The only baby products you’ll find on Gelato are clothing. They provide an adequate selection with t-shirts, short sleeve onesies and long sleeve onesies. However, not all are suitable for newborns or 2-year old so there’s a slight difficulty there!

Color choices are also quite limited but I like that they mention how many countries the product can be fulfilled in. Prices are standardized across all sizes and shipping is reasonable at only $3.56 to the USA for first item.

Gelato helps sellers further by displaying a scale for thickness and softness for all baby clothes. If you’re not planning to get samples of your own products, this is definitely helpful!

5. Prodigi

Although Prodigi is a UK-based fulfillment, their baby clothes are manufactured in a few countries including the UK, Europe, Canada and Australia. The toddler fine jersey t-shirt comes in 17 colors and made with a topstitched ribbed collar for extra durability.

Though it’s not in your best interest that baby clothes last longer, your customers will love the purchase and would recommend your products to others. Also they will appreciate Prodigi’s fast production turnaround of 3 days for custom baby clothes!

Prodigi does not use any plastic in their packaging so if you’re looking to have a sustainable POD biz, they are a great option!

6. Bags Of Love

Interested to make more unique print on demand baby clothes? Bags Of Love has them! Their baby robes and dressing gowns can be made for various sizes up to four year old.

Prices are displayed in GBP as all products are made and shipped worldwide from the UK. The only downside is shipping can be quite expensive, around $16.50 per package to North America.

But if you’re serious about designing products no one else offers, then Bags Of Love should be your go-to site. Aside from baby products, their print on demand selection for shoes, pet products and home décor are unmatched!

7. Redbubble

Almost everyone I know started their print on demand journey on Redbubble – this includes myself! You can read about my first sale here. Redbubble is great for beginners as it takes most of the hard part away. All you have to do is create designs using Canva and upload them on products with a single click.

Your products are now live and ready for sales! For baby clothes, Redbubble offers onesies, t-shirts and hoodies. Both short and long sleeve onesies go up to 18 months, while t-shirts goes up to 24 months. Hoodies on the other hand, are meant for both babies and kids.

Onesies come in greater color variations compared to t-shirts and hoodies. All products are ethically sourced!

8. CafePress

Love POD sites like Redbubble but don’t like their limited baby clothes selection? You should check out CafePress! They’re one of the longest POD marketplace and have a wider choice of baby products including baby pajamas.

You can offer personalization for customers to include names or initials and choose their preferred pajama colors. Semi-tailored products are best for kids and helps to increase your chances of making a sale. Read more about pros and cons of CafePress here!

9. Zazzle

Aside from Redbubble and CafePress, another marketplace worth looking into is Zazzle. Although it is slightly confusing compared to the former two, I would still recommend it for their cool features. There are extra ways of earning with Zazzle other than just getting your designs sold.

Zazzle has the basic baby clothing selection as well as some rare items like pacifiers and teddy bears. They also have announcement print outs you can sell within the baby section – it is one of the best items to sell on Etsy.

Just like CafePress, you can offer personalization and color options for baby clothing on Zazzle.

10. Merchize

If you don’t mind sourcing products from Asia, Merchize is a great option to look into. They’re a print on demand company based in Vietnam with wide choices of products especially all-over-print ones.

However, for baby products, Merchize only offers onesies with single sided printing. There are over 10 base colors to choose from so parents will never get bored. Another good news is that you can choose where you want to print baby clothes for your store as there’s options for Vietnam or the USA.

11. Threadless

Like the kind of designs you see on Redbubble? Threadless has equally cool designs too! Aside from baby t-shirts, you can get your designs printed on both short sleeve and long sleeve onesies.

Size only goes up to 18 months for the long sleeve onesies compared to the other two products with 24 months old sizes. You can easily customize your designs to only print on certain product base colors. Lighter colored designs are nicer on darker products, whereas darker designs are a lot more visible on lighter products.

Other than Printful, you can get embroidered baby denim jackets on Inkthreadable. From the 32 colors available, choose up to 6 colors for embroidery without 3D foam and maximum of 2 colors if you’re going for 3D foam. There will be additional charges of £0.99 for premium colors including the neon and pastel selections.

Inkthreadable has a great product catalog for babywear including organic outfits starting from just £7 with zero-rated VAT. I like that orders are shipped with paper postal mailing bags and 100% plastic-free packaging, ensuring a sustainable POD business for sellers.

The product catalog on Two Fifteen is almost similar to the one on Inkthreadable – I think they might be the same. Although there are lesser baby products on Two Fifteen, prices are almost equal. The baby t-shirts are cheaper at only £6 with VAT exempted.

Two Fifteen guarantees a 2-5 day shipping for their baby products so you can be rest assured your orders will arrive in time for the baby!

Aside from onesies and t-shirts, CustomCat also sells baby bibs that comes in 20 colors. To make things easier for parents, these bibs are machine washable and can fit babies up to 36 months. They tend to get dirty pretty easily and can go missing just after a few washes! So you definitely know, new parents will need a lot of them.

CustomCat’s baby jersey t-shirts are printed with DIGISOFT technique which makes it more vibrant and long lasting. You can watch a video about DIGISOFT here.

15. Printed Mint

There are a lot of baby products you can sell with Printed Mint other than just clothing. Some of their cutest baby clothes include baby rib dress and baby rib layette. Both are long outfits to keep babies cozy at night and during colder seasons.

Printed Mint offers bulk discounts (5-10%) for purchases over 10 units so if you’re a parent yourself, you can design your baby’s outfit and enjoy discounts. Conduct a mini photoshoot at home with your baby as the model and use the same pictures for your print on demand baby clothes business. Original photos sell exceptionally well on Etsy!

Looking for a fulfillment based in France and offering eco-friendly POD products? Tpop is the answer! Though there are not many choices, Tpop has a great organic line of products which are both machine washable and durable.

There’s only two items for babies on Tpop – which are baby bodysuits and baby bibs. Both are made of organic cotton for a comfortable wear when indoors or outdoors. The two products are priced under €11 excluding VAT.

Another Europe-based POD company with prices displayed in Euros is Shirtee. Compared to Tpop, Shirtee has a wider range of baby products you can sell. This includes baby hoodies, sweatshirts and long sleeve t-shirts.

Although the bibs are more expensive than Tpop’s, t-shirts are almost at the same price and Shirtee has more choices of colors for their baby clothing. Both their hoodies and sweatshirts are eco-friendly made of 85-100% organic cotton.

18. AOP+

Envelope neckline rompers or bodysuits are common among POD fulfillments. They add an element of cuteness to the baby’s outfit compared to the normal t-shirts and allows your products to stand out as a seller. It also makes the bodysuits more durable as babies tend to outgrow them.

Bodysuits are the only baby clothing sold on AOP+ and they come in 5 sizes and 8 base colors. Most baby products on AOP+ are printed and shipped from the UK – so keep delivery times in mind if you’re selling outside the country.

19. Bonfire

Bonfire has some interesting features unlike others in this list which includes fundraising with POD sales – find out more here. Their infant onesies are made of 100% organic cotton and comes in three basic colors (navy, black & white). There’s five general sizes that goes up to 24 months old.

As it is an exclusive product on Bonfire’s platform, price is slightly on the higher side starting from $20.79 for a piece. This comes with one sided printing in one ink color. Prices go lower with a higher number of quantity – 50 units in one order can get you $14.09 per piece.

Bonfire is an ideal option if you’re looking to print a lot in one go and perhaps sell the products on your own alongside online POD sales.

20. Apliiq

A baby’s outfit is not complete without headwear. Besides onesies, Apliiq has baby rib caps for you to sell in your store. They come in 11 vibrant colors similar to the onesies, allowing you to cross-sell these products for a higher checkout value. Parents are more likely to purchase them as a set if you make matching designs!

Apliiq has some interesting services for you to use, including getting your artwork reviewed by their artist to make your samples. Although you’ll have to pay more to get samples than the actual cost of product, it provides some form of confidence that your samples will be the best. You can then use the samples for your own mini product photoshoot at home.

Once fixed, the same reviewed artwork will be used for normal sales. So I think it’s worth it!

How To Start Selling Print On Demand Baby Clothing

  1. Choose a niche for your designs
    • Niching down is great to attract the right audience with your print on demand baby clothes designs
    • Some examples would be clothes designed with food, cute patterns or even funny quotes on babies
    • Focus on your chosen niche for the next 100 designs!
  2. Do research on best selling and trendy designs
    • Before making any designs, find out what’s working in the market
    • A quick trick is to Google or search for them on Etsy
  3. Make your own designs or outsource
    • You can make your own designs if you have the skills and time for it
    • If you don’t have both, consider outsourcing to designers on sites like Fiverr, Upwork or 99designs
    • Some important things to know are design file sizes and printing layout (if any)
  4. Sign up for an account with any of the sites I’ve listed above
    • You’ll have to create an account with one of the sites I’ve mentioned above to start selling
    • Choose one supplier that resonates to you the most with the right products you’ve envisioned for your baby clothes business
  5. Upload designs to products
    • Uploading designs to supplier’s products is super easy and you should be able to do this once an account is created
    • Position the design correctly when uploading as the actual product will look the same as what you see online
  6. Set a suitable profit margin for each product
    • On most sites, you should be able to set a selling price once you’ve done uploading the design
    • A suitable margin should be 40%-50% depending on the platform you’re selling on and any fees you’ll incur on each sale
    • This excludes shipping charges to customers!
  7. Sync them to your ecommerce store
    • You would need to integrate your ecommerce store e.g. Etsy or Shopify before you’re able to sell so do that first
    • Sync the ready product to your store to start selling them publicly
    • Sites like CafePress, Redbubble and Threadless have their own marketplace for you to sell your products – so you don’t need a separate store to use them
  8. Start selling and repeat!
    • Repeat the process and you’ll get some sales with time!
    • Increase your chances of success by uploading more quality designs and bringing in traffic to your store with ads (if you’re not selling on a marketplace)
